This is the reddit community for OpenEmu help and discussion. OpenEmu is changing the world of video game emulation. For the first time, the 'it just works' philosophy now extends to open source video game emulation on the Mac. With OpenEmu it is easy to add, browse, organize and with a compatible gamepad, play those favorite games (ROMs) you already own. Rules 1) Asking/showing where to find games (ROMs) and BIOS files is not allowed.
2) Don't post PlayStation (PSX) tutorial videos unless they follow the steps on the wiki exactly. 3) Posts about Pokemon games on DS will be removed.
4) Please flair your posts. 5) Posts that can be answered by reading the sidebar/Getting Started post may be locked and/or removed.
Other Places. The nutcracker 720p dual audio 300mb. So OpenEmu creates a new memory card for every game you play. The best way to pull this off (I think) is to open Suikoden 2 at least once. This should prompt OpenEmu to create a memory card for 2 with a specific file name.
Then you'll need to find where OpenEmu stores these memory cards. When you find them (I'm on mobile so I can't tell you from here where to look) it should be fairly obvious which memory card(s) are for each game. Move the blank ones from Suikoden 2 somewhere else, and then make a duplicate of the memory card file(s) from Suikoden 1.
Rename the new copies of the memory cards to the Suikoden 2 memory card file names exactly. Then load up Suikoden 2 and it should be able to see your saves from 1 on the memory card.
Suikoden 6
SUIKODEN: In the first in this series of RPGs by Konami, you are the son of the General Teo, one of the emperor's most powerful generals. Immediately, your father leaves to fight a battle up north leaving a few of his trusted friends to watch over of you. Soon after, you come to realize that you and your father have been serving on the wrong side. The Emperor and his generals' minds have been brainwashed. The result is unhappy subjects and an enslaved country. Knowing this, you join the Liberation Army and when their heroic leader is assassinated by the baddies, you are chosen as leader. Your job now is to recruit thousands of men to join the Liberation Army and restore peace to the country.
Along the way you will have to fight in three different styles of battle: normal, one-on-one, and war. See if you can bring justice to the world in Suikoden. SUIKODEN 2: Sequel to the early PlayStation RPG. As a member of the Alliance, a military force only really hinted at in the original, you play the unwitting hero of the game: an orphan who has been raised by a quiet, unassuming battle hero in a seemingly ancient war. Alongside you in the ranks is your best friend Joei, a boy born of nobility but who has never been able to receive approval in his stubborn father's eyes. As the game begins, you are immediately tossed into a tale of political strife, betrayal and war on a grand scale beyond your scope in the early stages.
As the game wears on, the plot will twist, turn and develop in numerous ways that expose the personalities of each of the characters involved. The battle system is turn-based, with the option to equip Runes for special abilities, combine party member attacks to create chain combos or devastating spells, and the option to run the battle in Auto mode.
